The show started on Windows in 1998 with the release of their first downloadable game, Counter Strike. Over time Counter Strike has developed into one of the most popular online games. The game allows for a player to select a character and perform a variety of strikes and counter-attacks against the other side. The objective is simple enough; eliminate all of the enemies until they get to the exit stage.


There are lots of versions of Counter-Strike, the very well-known variant is Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, that's the most played video game on the internet. In this game the player assists the US army in its mission to defend Washington D.C from international terrorists. This game includes a massive cast of characters including famous Americans like Carter Cook, Jason Bourne, Sebastian Burns and much more. Nearly all Counter-Strike's characters are featured in the online versions of the sport like in the favorite 2fort base, that's the most popular map in Counter-Strike. The reason the sport is popular stems in large part from the multi-player aspect, which allows up to four people to battle it out for control of the base.

The fort base is one of the more interesting maps in Counter-Strike, as it lets you hide and/or surprise your competitors by simply hiding in a truck that carries a massive quantity of cash. It also allows for some severe back-stabbings as players can easily injure each other using a great number of potential weapons. A few of these include a high number of firearms and knives that can be purchased or stolen from the bank. The map makes an excellent starting place for a Counter Strike campaign because of these variables and is generally well-guarded because of the massive quantity of money that's located there. It is considered to be one of the best first person shooters on the web, and has won the award for Best Multiplayer Shooter in the Game Awards 2021.
