Minecraft 118 Will Be Available This Month But Three Important Features Are on Hold

We knew it was coming , as the snapshot betas were getting smaller and smaller. But Mojang has made it official. The Minecraft 1.18 release date, which includes all of the Caves & Cliffs Part 2 features, is scheduled to launch in November at the end of the month. Minecraft survival servers The update will be available on all platforms Minecraft supports and will bring us a host new biomes, a revamped worlds generation and more.



Minecraft 1.18 will be available on November 30. The Java Edition update will be available on Windows, Mac, Linux, and Linux PCs. The Bedrock Edition will launch on – deep breath – PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X and S.



The update includes new world generation features and improved cave systems, as well candles. But, as we've previously reported certain features have been delayed from 1.18 - and they won't make 1.19 (also known as The Wild update) either, as the devs have confirmed.



The announcement states that archaeology bundles, archaeology and goat horns have been "put on hold". They are not being cancelled. We simply needed to put them on hold until further notice.
