The Minecraft Earth Beta Begins Its Global Takeover This Month

It's been a couple of months since we first heard about Minecraft Earth, the augmented virtual reality version of Mojang's game that makes the real world playscape filled with your own blocky creations. The company promised that an alpha version of the game would be available this summer. Now, along with a brand new trailer for the game, the company says it will launch on iOS within the next two weeks. Android will follow "soon afterward."



The launch of the game on iOS isn't a surprise after we had our first glimpse of live gameplay at WWDC last month. The trailer gives a lot more information about the game. However, it's worth checking out the Apple demo to check whether you have any questions. Minecraft kitpvp servers



You will need to sign up on this page to play the game for free. According to the FAQ, your device should be running iOS 10 or Android 7. Access to the game is limited as they adjust load to servers. However you must be logged in to play. If you don't play for seven consecutive days, someone else will get your slot. To sign up, you'll need an account with Microsoft or Xbox Live account. Once you've registered, there is nothing more than waiting and building.
