The vast and lovely landscapes of Breath of the Wild are such an obvious match for Minecraft that someone designed the entire BOTW map in the past year, but that was only a beginning point. Another pair of modders have added some vital Zelda gameplay, including a fully functional Sheikah Slate and all its capabilities, including a boomerang, Sheikah towers, and quite a bit more. If you're sick of creepers that explode all your hard work, give them an experience of their own misery with Link's remote-detonated bombs.

PCGamesN has spotted that the Breath Of The Wild datapack was made in collaboration with modders Craiy and Joris. It's very cool. Mc list

The Bokoblin camps, which are quite frequent in Minecraft and the more rare Sheikah Towers that appear like the massive spires Link climbs to reach Hyrule are the most obvious elements that you'll encounter in your Minecraft world. Fighting Bokoblins and taking their Boko Stick clubs is a good start but your next order of business should definitely be building ladders and climbing up to the top of the Sheikah tower. You'll then be able grab the Sheikah multitool to destroy and begin making destruction.

You can move and pick up blocks of metal such as iron or copper using the magnesis function.

In reality, it would be really cool to create a floating water base that could only be entered by ice pillars made of cryonis, not? I tried channeling Link by dropping iron blocks on the top of bokoblins but they just sped past them and landed on their own. Don't say I didn't try to smack them in the face.

The boomerang and hero's tunic are rare but are worth a look-up, especially the tunic that allows you to observe the current health of an opponent. Craiy provides all the information and more in the mod show video below.

The current version of the BOTW datapack is compatible with Minecraft 1.19 with all those neat new features, but Craiy claims that the group is planning to release a new version of the pack that includes more Zelda information.

The person who created last year's Breath of Wild map decided not offer it for download. It is better to be on the lookout for the one that is being developed by Grazzy. This is the datapack that Craiy and Joris used as a demonstration. It's not a good idea to use them together since Grazzy is building Sheikah towers on his own and the BOTW datapack is the one that generates the towers. Maybe even mix your Zeldas with the Wind Waker style you can discover on our top Minecraft texture packs list.
