Green Christmas
Shockingly in today's (pop) film culture, for which writing a review is a bit pointless and a bit unnecessary. Film creations coming down seriously like from a production line, not presenting greater artistic value, but tempting with pernicious lightness and referring to these less ambitious layers of our film sensitivity. Among them we will find blockbusters awaited by the masses, stuffed to the brim with the greatest celebrities of red carpets ("The Expendables"), hits hit with a "must see" badge, guaranteeing participation in a feast not so much artistic, but groundbreaking ("Avatar"), or subsequent parts of our favorite cinema tapeworms, carrying a reheated sentiment to old heroes and stories. "Very Harold & Kumar 3D Christmas, A" is a representative of the last group, artistically not very glorious, but almost every close movie fan. The two charming heroes with whom we have already lit a pot with the US president, escape from a secret military base in Cuba (with trivialities like a visit to Amsterdam or acquaintance with a Hollywood star not to mention) are coming back with new adventures. It comes back, in 3D technology, after all, in the 21st century, it's not different.
In the end, nothing better obscures the deficiencies of the script and the creative indolence (or maybe laziness) of the director. But only the greatest tease can cling to such frills as artistic shortcomings in the comedy.
Even more so when it comes to the comedy so "crazy and crazy" (forgive these clichés, I had to get the right epithets from the specs in the advertising and promotion section). After all, the film once again has everything that we liked serious Harold and reckless Kumar. Conflict with the Russian mafia? Here you are. Shooting Santa? Why not. Neil Patrick Harris? All about the same, tempting taste of absurdity, grotesque and unrefined humor that we know from previous parts. Gomovies In a word - a perfect continuation. Those who liked it will love it again. Let those who disgusted them better empty their popcorn box quickly, because they will be empty during the screening. The only thing that can be a bit discouraging fans is the fact that under the story changes the same story. Oh, such a vice of old friends that even our favorite characters are commonplace and it's hard to surprise us.
The third part is no longer so "fresh" and what was a iconoclastic and controversial a few years ago does not evoke stronger emotions today.
