WRUP All DPS Players Are Sharks Edition

It's time to expose the truth that a lot of MMO players don't yet realize: All DPS players are sharks. You may be wondering why so many DPS seem addicted to the phrase "GOGOGO" because slowing down for even one second will cause them to be dead. They have to keep swimming and killing. This is what MMOs do to the sharks. Don't ask how a shark is capable of playing or typing the game. Just know that the rogue who will not wait for the tank or the healer, or even the other DPS can't avoid doing what is happening. He's a shark.

One of the Massively staff might be a shark, but I'm not able to confirm or deny it. Maybe he or she announces his or his status as sharks in this week's WRUP or maybe it's just our usual roundup of our weekend plans as always. It's not clear until you read further but you can let us know what you're up to in the comments section either way.

@Beau_Hindman - I'm definitely playing more State of Decay. It's a fantastic game and easily is one of my top picks for single-player games of the year. For MMORPGs I'm testing the limits of Minecraft's MMO-ness I'll be playing the latest patch of DC Universe Online, and I'll also be experiencing some action in Neverwinter I believe it is one of the most stunning and sounding MMOs available right now.

@nbrianna It's sure to be fun!

@Eliot_Lefebvre: World of Warcraft is currently playing in my side game slot, and although there are a variety of elements in there that I'm still not satisfied with, I'm enjoying myself. Beyond that, there's going to be more Final Fantasy XIV questing to do and various endgame shenanigans to participate in, so that's my main concentration.

@Sypster I don't have any big plans for the weekend. I'm currently in the countdown mode for Lord of the Rings Online Helm's Deep. I'm likely to try a few additional scenarios from The Secret World, and maybe even try some of the World of Warcraft stuff the kids are loving these days.

@mvmatt: I've got a weekend plan that includes schoolwork, soup and, if I'm lucky, some video games. I'll likely be playing Warhammer Online to remind myself why I quit playing it (and think about the things that nearly made me stay) before the servers close next month. In addition I'd love to revisit Guild Wars 2 or The Secret World. I have been ignoring them for a while. Maybe, just maybe I can stop some fools on Battlefield 4.

@MikedotFoster - This weekend, I'll be checking out the Three Spirits Dota 2 Update. I'll also be returning to World of Warcraft; that Warlords of Draenor announcement has me excited again.

@MJ_Guthrie - I plan to focus my gaming time (and there will be some, illness be damned!) trying to accomplish more in the war on Filth in The Secret World. I am a sucker for that pet and that bee suit so badly and even though I can't see any way in the world I'll be able to collect enough tokens, I'm determined to try! Did I mention I am stubborn? If I'm not in that, I will be playing a game or two, and testing new builds. Acesa soft I will also be trying different races to be my new Channeler in EverQuest II. The race has been narrowed down to Ratonga or Kerra. After that, it'll take me only 30 hours to customize the look. Oh wait, then there is the whole name thing...

@RichieProcopio: This weekend, I'll be intoxicated and hallucinating. No I'm not going to an event at a frat house; I'll be paying the tower of dreams an appearance in Guild Wars 2 and see what Scarlet and her new serpentine allies have been doing in Kessex Hills. Oh, and Hearthstone!

At the start of every weekend, we get together with the Massively staff and ask them, "What are you playing this week?" (Otherwise known as: WRUP!) Join us to see our game-related activities. You can also catch us in the comments section to discuss your gaming experiences with us.
